Dear friend.
NLO Championships has always been forerunner in Finnish grappling scene.
We where the first tournament in Finland to introduce master/senior categories in Jiu-Jitsu and ADCC Submission Fighting. We where right there in the begining of junior tournaments in Finland. We also have been the first to introduce money prizes, coolest gi competitions and mustache meetings at the tournament.
This year we top it all. We are calling it this year the NLO world championships. Why? Because we can. NLO is friendly and fun competition where everyone can enjoy themselves with the sport that we all love.
We have had fighters from Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Denmark, Russia, Brazil etc. literally all over the world.

Weight in is performed before the first match.
Fight times. Beginners, masters and juniors 5 min (first 2 min no points) advanced 6min (first 3 min no points)

No medals at national or international championships in BJJ at blue belt level or higher.

Weight in with gi right before the first fight.
Fight times: Junior C, D and E 4 min, Junior A and B 5 min, White belts 5 min, blue belts 6 min, purple to black 7 min.

Other observations:

All participants must have insurance to cover possible injuries during the competition. Organizer does not insure no one participating at the tournament. Organizer holds the right to combine categories in case there is not enough fighters at certain category.

Uniforms in BJJ must meet the size requirements of IBJJF. Only color can vary

Participation fee:

25€/day 40€ two days.
Fee should be paid in advance at the day or the registration. No later than august 17th.
Keep the receipt of the payment with you at the tournament.

Prizes
Medals for top 3 in ADCC rules. In BJJ rules top 4
Coolest gi will be awarded with NLO World Championships 2012 Coolest gi award.
Open weight winner in each day will receive 300€ win bonus.
Best team will get hold of Crossfacebowl for next year and can come to defend the trophy in 2013.
